Quotations, invoices and payment

How long are quotations valid for?

Our quotations are valid for a period of 30 days from the quotation date.

If I request a quotation, will I have an obligation to purchase?

No, you don’t have any obligation to purchase.

If you've requested a quotation via our Contact us form on this website, you will be contacted by a member of the Equip-IT team to discuss your requirements.

How can I cancel an order?

Many of our products are built to order and tailored to your requirements. You can cancel your order(s) anytime up to 14 working days after the invoice date by contacting us on equipment@hrwallingford.com.

If you wish to cancel your orders after this time, you will be only be refunded 50% of the total of the invoice.

Delivery and returns

Can I receive a certificate of inspection with my equipment?

Equipment is inspected by a member of our team at the time it is being packed. If you require a certificate of inspection, please let us know when placing your order or inform us as soon as possible by email at equipment@hrwallingford.com.

What do I need to do to return damaged goods?

Please inform us in writing within 3 days of the date of delivery if the equipment has been damaged in transit. After this time, repair or replacement of the equipment that has been damaged in transit may incur a cost.. See also 'Support and warranty' section below.

Support and warranty

How can I get my equipment repaired?

We will repair free of charge any equipment which fails within 12 months of the date of delivery, provided that it was used correctly. You will however bear the costs for packing, freight and insurance.

If equipment is older than a year, please contact us to discuss your requirements and to arrange for a quotation

ARCboat

Can I purchase more battery packs for my ARCboat?

Yes, you can purchase battery packs for your ARCboat. Contact us for more information.

Do ARCboat plugs unscrew completely from the ARCboat?

Yes, our plugs completely unscrew from the boat. When completely unscrewed a small pair of arms stop the plug from becoming detached.

If the plug becomes completely detached then it can be reattached by gently bending the arms and reinserting then plug. Then screw it up as usual.

Is it possible to purchase an ARCboat plug?

Yes, it is possible to order a new ARCboat plug. Contact us for more information.

I have a piece of equipment which I want to use on the ARCboat but it isn’t listed under your adaptors - can I still use my equipment?

If the physical dimensions fit, then we can connect your equipment on the ARCboat for you to use. However, please get in touch so we can discuss your requirement further.

What is the maximum load an ARCboat can carry?

The ARCboat can carry up to 25 kg. It is  important that loads are secured and well distributed throughout the vessel to maintain balance. You will also need to check the environmental conditions as waves reduce the potential payload weight.
